I often think of bad guys. I think about them too much probably. Think about them coming after me, or harassing me. But there's a lot of em in this world. So what are they??? I have always been baffled at what really makes someone who they are. I know more than I let on to myself, but it's hard for me to encapsulate all the knowledge I've gained through experience and insights into human nature, carry it with me, and have it cement into a baseline understanding. But as I've gotten older, that has certainly happened to a certain extent, and I'm less surprised by people's behavior, if I still grapple with the conundrums of why meanness and other such things exist in the human mind and heart.
There are certainly a lot of good explanations as to why human meanness exists, as to why mean people exist. We live in a material world and human psychology is a flower, but a flower rooted in some rather miserable, and all too real soils. It's even debatable whether human psychology is a flower! Sometimes it just seems like a useless weed growing atop a dungheap. But it's best to remain optimistic. So what then is the process by which meanness flourishes at the cost of understanding?
People are malleable after all, and even if personality is anchored in concrete, material conditions, there is an active soul spark which can drive human change - after all, nature itself is infinitely adaptable and though chaotic is also very harmonic. These poles of practically metaphysical imbalance are syntheses of the same fundamental being but become very distorted in the human perception matrix.
And I believe that this scrambling of the mind is largely rooted in technological imposition of definite systems. But that is another discussion. What I was originally thinking when beginning this post was that 'bad guys' are essentially just dormant/vacant souls. This is just my own perspective. Because there are some pretty horrible conditions which humans are immersed within. And there may not be anything like inherently evil people, but the conditions, and the systems, surely create them.
So how to recreate / destroy life which rejects life ?
